Hi,
My name is Kim Hession and I am an occupational therapy student at Towson University. I am not sure if you are still looking for a babysitter, but if you need someone for Matthew, I would love to help!! I would be available all day Monday and Friday, and anytime on the weekends. I also have a few big breaks in my schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday so it could be possible to work something out for those days. My youngest cousin is 2 years old and she has down syndrome as well so I do have some experience and would definitely be comfortable watching Matthew. I am just starting in the program at school so I’m not sure if you wanted someone that knew more about the occupational exercises, but if you’re interested I would be more than happy to help!
Thank you!
Kim Hession

Hello,

My name is Trishawna Ruff but I go by Shawnee. I currently attend Stevenson University. A large portion of my career here, I’ve majored in Nursing. Just until recently I’ve changed my major to Human Services with a track in Administration in Programs for Children. I believe that every child has potential and can bring happiness to everyone’s life, and shouldn’t be looked down upon because they are different. I’m certified in CPR. I also want to go back to school once I graduate to achieve a master in Counseling and a BS in Nursing. I’ve been inspired to work with children and to help them from my aunt as I grew up. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of two. During her surgery the doctors removed a portion of her brain that controlled her motor skills. My aunt, who’s now in her thirties, cannot take care of herself and has to use a wheelchair to get around. I make sure that I see her as much as I can and color with her, because I know that she misses our time coloring in her coloring books. I would be honored if given the chance to work with your son. If you have any questions, please contact me at 410-372-7091 or at shawnee2882@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
