Hi, my name is Danielle Curry and I just recently graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with my nursing degree and just moved to Towson. I am currently studying for my state boards and I am interested in temporary work until I find my permanent nursing job. Depending on the hours I would like to continue working with this organization as my schedule permits. Right now I am pretty much available any day, any time. I have a lot of experience with children which includes working at Small Steps Daycare School in York, PA for 4 years and I have been babysitting for 2 families for 4-5+ years on a pretty regular basis. I have also babysat for many other families on a more part time basis. I am CPR certified as well as my nursing skills, good work ethic and most important, compassion I have learned throughout my nursing education. If you would like to learn more about me or see a copy of my resume or references, my email is danic1228@aol.com. Feel free to email with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to hearing from you and learning more about Elijah and your family!

Hi. My name is Samantha Child, “Sam” to anyone who knows me. I am in my junior year of nursing school at Towson University. I have a current CNA (certified nursing assistant) license and am CPR certified. I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember and love working with kids and teens. My brother has mild autism (Asperger’s syndrome) and went to the Lab School of Baltimore as a teen. He is now at Columbia College of Chicago. My family is very proud of him and I appreciate the obstacles children with learning and mental disabilities have to overcome. I am very patient and learn quickly. Once I am shown how to do something I will remember it. My availability is mostly afternoons and evenings and anytime during the weekend. Thursdays I can work in the morning. I cannot work on Tuesdays. I’d love to help out! My e-mail is schild4@students.towson.edu if you would like to contact me.

Hello, my name is Alison Keenan. I just finished my first semester of the nursing program at Towson University. I recently applied for my CNA (certified nursing assistant) license and should be getting it within the next month. I am CPR and first aid certified. Over the past three summers I have worked as a life guard in Southern Maryland. This summer I am looking for a job more related to nursing so I stayed in Towson and I live only 5 minutes away from the university. I would love to gain more experience working with and caring for people with all types of conditions and of all ages. I began babysitting when I was about 12 years old and have cared for a range of ages from 1 year olds to 16 year olds. Since the semester just ended my schedule has become very open and flexible. Please feel free to contact me. My email address is akeena2@students.towson.edu. I am interested in learning more about your child and your family. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Hello,

My name is Trishawna Ruff but I go by Shawnee. I currently attend Stevenson University. A large portion of my career here, I’ve majored in Nursing. Just until recently I’ve changed my major to Human Services with a track in Administration in Programs for Children. I believe that every child has potential and can bring happiness to everyone’s life, and shouldn’t be looked down upon because they are different. I’m certified in CPR. I also want to go back to school once I graduate to achieve a master in Counseling and a BS in Nursing. I’ve been inspired to work with children and to help them from my aunt as I grew up. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of two. During her surgery the doctors removed a portion of her brain that controlled her motor skills. My aunt, who’s now in her thirties, cannot take care of herself and has to use a wheelchair to get around. I make sure that I see her as much as I can and color with her, because I know that she misses our time coloring in her coloring books. I would be honored if given the chance to work with your son. If you have any questions, please contact me at 410-372-7091 or at shawnee2882@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
